This footage from the 1942 movie “Syncopation” offers a rare clip of trombonist Jack Jenny and other well known bandleaders, violinist Joe Venuti, trumpeter Harry James, steel guitarist Alvino Rey, saxophonist Charlie Barnet, clarinetist Benny Goodman, and drummer Gene Krupa.

With the abundance of jazz talent presented here Gene Krupa still manages to steal the show.
