Boogie Woogie piano king, Meade Lux Lewis made this recording during the late 1930’s.
Following his historic 1938 performance at John Hammond’s “From Spirituals to Swing” concert held at Carnegie Hall, Meade Lux Lewis gained National attention.
In the coming years he continued to played in a trio with fellow concert attendees Pete Johnson, and Albert Ammons becoming a leading boogie-woogie pianist of the day.
