This record was made in New York City in 1951 featuring Wild Bill Davison (cornet), Jimmy Archey (trombone), Edmond Hall (clarinet), Joe Sullivan (piano), Eddie Condon (4-string guitar), Bob Casey (bass), and George Wettling (drums).
George Wetting was a Chicago drummer influenced by Baby Dodds who is best remembered for his work with Muggsy Spanier and Eddie Condon. He took up abstract painting towards the end of his life.
