*”Tear It Down” is credited to Clyde McCoy and Buford Threlkeld (aka Whistler).
Clyde McCoy was responsible for developing the signature “wah-wah” sound on his trumpet during the late 1920’s. In 1967 this distinctive sound was replicated for electric guitar with the introduction of the Vox Wah-Wah Pedal bearing his name.
