This 1941 film footage of the Count Basie Orchestra features Harry “Sweets” Edison trumpet (on “Dance of the Gremlins”), and Buck Clayton trumpet (on “Swingin’ the Blues”), Don Byas on tenor sax, and drummer Jo Jones.

*”Dance of the Gremlins” and “Swingin’ the Blues” were both composed by William “Count” Basie.
