This side was recorded by “Blanche Calloway and her Joy Boys” on August 27, 1934 including Blanche Calloway (vocals), Ben Webster (tenor sax), and Cozy Cole (drums).

Blanche, the sister of Cab Calloway, spent a brief period performing with his band before going on to work with the “Andy Kirk Orchestra”. After unsuccessfully attempting to assume control of Kirk’s band she assembled her “Joy Boys” in 1931.
