This record was produced in New York City on October 2, 1939 by the “Benny Goodman Sextet” featuring Benny Goodman (clarinet & leader), Fletcher Henderson (piano), Lionel Hampton (vibraphone), Charlie Christian (guitar), Artie Bernstein (bass), and Nick Fatool (drums).

It was among the first studio recordings on which Charlie Christian would appear after joining the band.
